Each fall we split the club up by age. We pick a cut off year and start duking it out!
The format may change from year to year, but at the end of each meeting the scores are tallied to determine the winner of that meeting. The team with the most overall points at the end of the season is champion. There is no fee or other requirement to participate.
Battle of the Ages Rules 2025
Those born during or before 1972 are on team Legacy.
Everyone else is team Nexgen.
4 players at a time will be matched against each other.
Each player plays one singles and one doubles.
Matches are normal rules except that each match is exactly three games. Each game scores 1 point in the standings.
A Golden Game will be held after.
Players will rotate every 4 points until a team scores 21. There is a point bonus based on the current score difference. The Golden Game is worth 6 points.
