Rules of Greatest Ever Doubles Champions

Each open play session, the Greatest Ever Doubles Champions challenge is in play.

The winners of the very first doubles match of the session become the Greatest Ever Doubles Champions.
The champions must play any challengers or forfeit the title. If the challengers win they become the new champions.
If a member of the current champions team leaves early, and there are still challengers, the remaining player may choose another partner to defend the title.
If both champions leave and there are more challengers, they forfeit the title and the next doubles match determines the Greatest Ever Doubles Champions.
Champions may be challenged at anytime, however they must be defeated before session time expires.
The Greatest Ever Doubles Champions shall have their photo taken with the championship flag.
The photo will be enshrined in the PhoenixvilleTableTennis.com photo album, posted on Facebook, featured in social media Reels, and revered over the entire planet.
At the end of the year, the one player with the most photos gets to keep the flag.
