Welcome to the November 2026 Monthly update! I am your host, The PongFather, here to guide you down the road of awesomness!
Upcoming:
- The club is CLOSED Tuesday 11/3 and Saturday 11/7. Tuesday is because the rec center is an election polling place. Saturday because Pong for Progress is holding a USA Table Tennis tournament in the gym. Sorry, the event is full, but spectators are welcome.
- Tuesday 11/17 is our monthly "two room, 6-7 tables" day. Expect Code Red rules.
- Saturday 11/28: A marathon begins at the rec center. When you arrive, hundreds to people will be there waiting for the official start. Parking will be limited to the street.
- Greatest of Phoenixville Doubles and Singles will be sometime this month. Probably. I have to talk to the participants.
October Round up:
- Gunjan is the 2026 Greatest of Phoenixville Ladies Champion!
- James won the "Manliest Costume" contest on Mustache Night.
- Simar won "Best Mustache".
- Kush is now the Intercontinental Table Tennis Champion of the World after being the last man standing in the "steel cage" match on Mustache Night. Honorable mention to Girish for holding off the numerous challengers, he was up to 11 or 12 vanquished before Kush stepped into the ring.
- Simar won our ever changing 10/24 Fall Fest NO PARKING tournament, which ended up being a Spindex Tournament.
- Congratulations to Exton Table Tennis Club for celebrating their one year anniversary November 1st!
